Formwork Carpenter/ Construction Labourer

We are currently looking for career-minded Formwork Carpenters/Skilled Labourers to join our growing team. Whether you’re eager to learn a new trade or expand on your existing knowledge of concrete construction, we want to hear from you!
Job Responsibilities:

Read & interpret drawings
-
Prepare and clean-up work sites
-
Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment.

Demonstrate the ability to work quickly, accurately, and safely while delivering quality workmanship
-
Build and set footings
-
Erect and dismantle concrete forming systems/specialty-forming systems (PERI, etc.)
-
Construct and erect columns
-
Erect and dismantle scaffolding
-
Assist other tradespersons
Qualifications:
-
3+ years’ experience in formwork carpentry
-
Trade school diploma or certification is preferred
-
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches, or building plans
-
Having your own tools/Equipment, Steel-toed safety boots, Hard hat, Safety glasses/goggles etc. is preferred
-
Valid safety certificates are required – WHMIS, Working at Heights
-
Valid G driver’s license & own vehicle is preferred as transit is not always available
-
Physically fit and able to lift 50+ lbs.

Team/Crew leadership experience is preferred
-
Positive attitude is a must
-
A team player and has good communication skills
